In essence, the Top 16 qualifiers will compete in a single elimination tournament known as Tier 1. The top four players of Tier 1 will enter the prize pool! Remaining qualifiers will filter to Tier 2 and Tier 3 with 16 players each.

Quals are open until October 23rd in your time zone! Tournament runs to November 17th.

No linecaps in this one. Round 1 and 2 will be best of seven with the finals being a massive best of nine!

Tier 1 will be restreamed on MonthlyTetris while Tier 2 and 3 will be community restreamed except for the finals! If more and more people qualify, we will consider adding more tiers.

ACCEPTED VERSIONS:

Emulators, Everdrives, Fractal‘s PAL Speedhack, and the “Tetris Gym” cart/ROM are allowed. Players must make sure not to use any features that could give them an advantage over other players, namely: fast-forwarding or any other speed related issue, additional scripts, patched ROMs (other than Tetris Gym) or multiple input bindings. All GameGenie codes besides rocket screen skip, legal screen skip and maxout uncap are forbidden. For full rules, join the CTP server.
